How it works

From application to funded, in four stages.

What happens at each stage, what we ask for and how long it usually takes.

  1. 1

    Application

Answer seven short questions: the amount, time in business, monthly revenue, a credit estimate and how to reach you. About seven short questions and free.

  2. 2

    Conversation

Someone from our underwriting team calls to understand the expansion: what it costs, when it starts and how it pays back.

  3. 3

    Documents

Recent business bank statements for most requests. Larger amounts and SBA loans also need tax returns, financial statements and a debt schedule.

  4. 4

    Written offer

Amount, term, payment, APR or factor rate and total cost of financing, all in writing. Ask anything before you decide.

  5. 5

    Funding

E-sign when ready. Term loans usually fund 2 to 5 business days after approval*, SBA loans typically 30 to 90 days.

Have these ready

Documents to have ready

  • Last four months of business bank statements (PDFs from your bank)
  • A photo ID for each owner of 20% or more
  • Your business tax ID (EIN)
  • For larger or SBA requests: two years of business and personal tax returns
  • For equipment: the vendor quote or invoice
  • A short description of the expansion and its cost
Typical profile

What underwriting looks at.

  • Time in businessTypically 12 months or more; newer businesses can still apply
  • RevenueTypically $20,000+ a month in deposits; smaller businesses can still apply
  • LocationA U.S.-based business with a business bank account
  • CreditAll credit profiles reviewed; stronger credit lowers cost

Every application gets a review. We don’t fund personal or consumer purposes (business financing only). Trucking and transportation files are reviewed case by case.

After you're funded

Your payment schedule is in your agreement, with the same amount each month for a fixed-rate term loan. You keep one point of contact for payoff figures, statements and questions.

When the next stage of the plan comes up, call us. Businesses with a good repayment record often qualify for better terms the second time.
